The price of one USDT transfer, network by network
This is what the network keeps for one USDT transfer, read from the blockchains themselves. The size of the transfer plays no part: 10 and 10,000 are charged alike.
Fee data as of Nov 4, 2026 19:15
The low right now belongs to Optimism — ≈ $0.00015 per transfer, the high to TRON (TRC20) — ≈ $2.2.
What each network takes for USDT
| Network | Right now | Over 7 days | Charged in | Speed | Order minimum |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $0.00015 0.000000067 ETH | $0.00015 – $0.0017 | ETH | fast | 100 USDT | |
| $0.00046 0.000005 SOL | $0.00045 – $0.00051 | SOL | fast | 100.67 USDT | |

TRON: a receiving address that has not held USDT before doubles the energy spent — that works out at ≈ 13 TRX ($4.3).
Solana: when the receiver has no USDT token account open, the sender adds about 0.00204 SOL ($0.19) to the payment to create one.
Arbitrum and Optimism: part of the amount goes on storing the transaction data in Ethereum.
The calculation covers an ordinary wallet-to-wallet USDT transfer; an exchange or an app is free to add a charge of its own. State of play as of Nov 4, 2026 19:15.
Whose balance this charge comes off
It comes off the sender, and only in the coin of the network itself (ETH, SOL, AVAX, BNB and TRX), never in USDT. When you are the one sending to us, the fee leaves your wallet, so keep a little of the network coin on it. When we send the payout, the robot pays it, and the form shows the final amount before the order is created.
How the figure is arrived at
Optimism, AVAX C, BEP20, Arbitrum and ERC20: today's gas price multiplied by roughly 65,000 units — that is what a token transfer normally consumes.
Arbitrum and Optimism are built over Ethereum: on top of gas they count the data record written into Ethereum, and we read that value from the contracts of these networks directly.
TRON: roughly 65,000 energy at the price in force (100 sun) plus about 345 bytes of bandwidth — for a sender who has not frozen TRX and has not rented energy.
Solana: 5,000 lamports of base plus the customary priority top-up, taken from recent blocks.
The data comes from public nodes (PublicNode, TronGrid, Solana RPC), and the conversion into dollars follows CoinGecko quotes. We poll every 10 minutes; if a network stays silent we keep the previous number, and anything older than a day is dropped altogether.
Ways to bring the cost down
- Pick the cheaper network when both wallets work with it: one network can cost a hundred times more than another.
- Keep a reserve of the network coin on the wallet at all times (ETH, SOL, AVAX, BNB and TRX) — without it USDT will not go anywhere.
- Send larger and less often: the network takes the same for 10 USDT as for 10,000.
- Check the network of the receiving address: a transfer into the wrong network most often ends in lost funds.
- In TRON a transfer to an address with a history of USDT costs less, and the charge is cut hardest by frozen TRX and rented energy.
